Del Mar opened. They were pretty good. It was good to get a Bud warm up.
2nd Up was Dirty Heads. I dunno if anyone else has heard of em, but holy shit they were great. A lot of Reggae and Hip Hop in there. I recomend em.
As for Sublime...
Bud and Eric are sounding better than they have in pretty much all that time with all thier other projects. Rome can play, but I think he's trying too hard to sound like Bradley. It felt wrong when he sang Jailhouse with the lyrics "When I was a youth in 1983" considering he's only 22. Also, Doing Time kinda doesn't work when you sing "Sublime is on the Mic with Ras MG," when Marshall wasn't even there.
I got Todd Fucking Foreman to sing my copy of 40oz to Freedom!
now it's signed by Marshall, Opie, Jack and Todd... Eric and Bud are elusive bastards
